Samyang 85mm f/1.4 Aspherical IF Lens Multi-Coated for Canon

Samyang Multi Coated Lens 85mm f1.4 IF is the highest quality portrait lens designed for people who want to get best possible image quality.
The design of the lens is based on the 9 lenses in 7 groups.
One of the lens is aspherical (reduce abberations).
The aperture is build of 8 diaphragm blades which allows to get very impressive depth of field.
All lenses are covered with anti-reflecting coat, and the light transmission is on very high level.

Samyang Video DSLR series is equipped with an aperture ring which enables smooth, no gradual adjustment. When recording video image, this function allows to obtain effects not attainable for standard cameras which provide a possibility to adjust aperture only from the camera level. Precise and perfectly calibrated focusing ring is another advantage of the product. Video DSLR lenses may as well be used in traditional photography.



Focus has to be set manually. Minimum focusing distance is one meter (3.3ft).
